Terms and conditions
Anti-Horizon is free, and you can play as a guest without an account. To save journeys or play online you need a free account: sign in with Google or your email address and confirm it with the code we email you. Please read the privacy policy to see what that involves. Anti-Horizon is made by AK, an independent developer in Australia.
The game
Anti-Horizon provides single-player modes and an optional private multiplayer arena. It models gravitational growth, orbital systems and accretion using compressed gameplay rules. It is entertainment, not a scientific simulation or professional advice. Computer-controlled rivals, astronomical events and companions are simulated locally.
Anti-Horizon does not contain purchases, subscriptions, paid upgrades, advertising or payment collection. Your account exists only so that you can sign in: use an email address you control, do not sign in as someone else, and do not try to overload or get around the sign-in service. We may refuse codes to addresses or networks that abuse it. The game and sign-in service are provided as they are, without a promise that they will always be available.
Age and accounts
Anyone can play as a guest. When you create an account we ask once for your month and year of birth, and you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. Tell the truth: the first answer stands and cannot be changed later. Players under 13 can save and play every solo mode, but cannot join the online arenas or the leaderboards. If you are under 18, check with a parent or guardian before you create an account.
Refunds
Anti-Horizon is free. We never take payment for anything, so there is nothing to refund. Coins, cosmetics, water, DNA and companions are earned by playing, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. If someone asks you to pay for Anti-Horizon or anything in it, it is not us: tell us through the contact form.
Moderation
The game’s owner can remove pilots from an arena, remove leaderboard scores, bar an account from the arenas and leaderboards for a time or for good, post announcements and give coins. We use these to keep the game fair and safe, for example against cheating, offensive names or harassment.
Coins and cosmetics
Coins are earned only by playing in the multiplayer arenas and spent only on hats and shades. They cannot be bought with money, have no cash value and cannot be traded or refunded. They live in your browser, so clearing its data removes them.
Leaderboards
Signed-in journeys go on public weekly and daily leaderboards under your pilot name. Choose a name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone. Scores that look tampered with may be refused or removed, and boards may be reset.
Optional multiplayer and custom signals
Multiplayer requires a separately operated server and an explicit connection. Shared rooms do not pause when menus are open. Do not send private information or media you lack permission to share. Use the signal visibility settings to hide text/media. Quick play and the five public arenas run on our arena server, which keeps no persistent accounts and has no moderation staff. If you connect to a server someone else runs, that host is responsible for it and for any additional terms or data practices.
Game resources and companions
Water and DNA are earned through play. They cannot be purchased with money, transferred to other players or redeemed for cash. Companion rarity describes gameplay outcomes, not monetary value.
The discovery wheel costs 500 water and 100 DNA for a successful discovery. Its sectors are Common 59%, Rare 35%, Epic 5% and Legendary 1%. The Common sector also includes the existing Uncommon companions. Outcomes are selected locally; no rarity is guaranteed on an individual spin. A completed sector spends no resources and a full incubator blocks further spins. The Life Lab shows the same rules during play.
Local saves
Three save slots store separate progress on the device. With the three-evolution toggle enabled, automatic checkpoints occur after three new astronomical classes. Save now, returning to the main menu using Save & return, and changing slots save immediately. Charting The Final Interstallar and completing its merger also make explicit full checkpoints. Closing between checkpoints can discard later progress. The Privacy policy explains storage, retention and deletion.
There is no promised cloud recovery or transfer between devices. Moving the game, clearing storage or changing browser profiles can make a previous save unavailable. Keep a copy of your existing game folder before replacing files.
Source code and permitted use
The supplied source package includes an MIT license. Its permission and notice requirements apply to copying, modifying and distributing the software. Keep the required copyright and license notice when redistributing it. These gameplay terms do not restrict permissions granted by that license.
External reference pages remain subject to their own terms. A citation does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by NASA, a regulator, a browser vendor or another referenced organization.
Limitations and legal rights
Browser behavior and hardware performance vary. There is no promise that every device will maintain a particular frame rate or that the software is free from defects. The license's warranty provisions apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this page excludes, restricts or changes consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. No arbitration requirement, liability indemnity or choice of legal jurisdiction is added by this page.
